Join Ellwood Friends, The City Of Goleta and the Bucket Brigade to plant native trees to help restore the Monarch Butterfly Preserve at Ellwood Mesa.
This is a great opportunity for volunteers of all ages to learn how to plant native trees to help transform a damaged ecosystem into a beautiful native pollinator garden for the butterflies, birds, bees and the whole community to enjoy.
Volunteers will park at the Coronado Butterfly Preserve Parking Area and walk in to the Bucket Brigade Volunteer Tent for a safety briefing and coffee and doughnut tasting before we head out into the garden.
