Twenty years ago, Ellwood Mesa was saved from development thanks to the passionate efforts and generosity of community members, organizations, and partners who safeguarded this treasured open space. Today, it thrives as a haven for monarch butterflies, native habitats, and public enjoyment.
On May 17, 2025, we will gather to honor this remarkable legacy and engage a new generation of stewards. This free, community-wide celebration will inspire action and ensure Ellwood inspires conservation for years to come.
